For the majority of our clients, we use scaffolding to install the solar panels on the roof. The entire process takes just several hours (the time it will take you to watch a film), during which our team of roofers attach fixing brackets to a roof’s rafters. The sleek solar panels are then clamped on to the fixing brackets and you are able to start generating power instantly.
WHAT DO SOLAR PV SYSTEMS COST?

Are there any Solar PV funding and grants?
The great news is you can get your solar PV system installed with little to no upfront cost via a PPA agreement. A low electricity rate is agreed for a period of 20 years, providing savings of up to £200 per year. You won’t receive the export tariff, but you will benefit from significantly cheaper energy bills.
The Smart Export Guarantee is a way of generating cash for your solar by exporting it to the grid. Solar is covered under this scheme, along with other renewable energy solutions. It replaces a previous scheme known as the feed-in tariff. Zing Energy works closely with some of the biggest energy suppliers across the country and can advise if this form of funding is available to you.
